"Light doesn't die, it just goes somewhere darker to wait."
- Nat Berhe
A nocturnal abstract dominated by deep umber, black, and teal in which a soft magenta-pink glow at center-top suggests a face or flame breaking through the dark. Below, a pool of brilliant cyan radiates outward as if lit from beneath the surface. The work is hushed and luminous simultaneously, a portrait of something on the verge of being seen, identity held just at the threshold between form and dissolution.
