"The suit is real. The face underneath, that's the performance."
- Nat Berhe
A dark, incisive portrait of a suited man whose face has been overwritten in garish, almost carnival paint, canary yellow hair, skin fractured across multiple colors, blue-tinted features obscured behind what reads as both mask and exposure. His navy blazer and red-striped tie anchor him to the grammar of power, but the face refuses to let him disappear into it. Against a near-black ground, a white smear breaks the frame, the truth seeping through.
