Halo Monolith

Against a background of painted squares, every color, each panel a different world, a winged figure stands in black silhouette, arms wide, a blazing yellow halo erupting from the center of its form. The grid of color panels reads like stained glass, like memory, like the many lives that make up one life. At 60" x 72", this is one of Berhe's most monumental spiritual statements: transcendence as architecture.
