A richly textured abstraction in deep purples, magentas, and cool blues, the composition rises from a dark, maroon earth toward a luminous crown of soft lavender and white light, with a single burst of orange in the upper right like a sun just breaking the surface. The impasto is thick and physical, the color choices pulled from the edge of longing, violet that bleeds into pink, shadows that hold their own light. At 24" x 36", Crave is intimate in scale but vast in emotional reach.
